Ingredients
- (100g) Chicken thigh cubes
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder<
- 1 tablespoon red chilli powder<
- 2 slit green chillies
- 1/4 cup fried onions
- 1/2 cup (15g) mint leaves
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste<
- 1 tablespoon fresh cream
- 1 cup (75g) soaked basmati rice
- 1 pinch saffron
- 1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter)
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
- Add all ingredients except the rice and saffron to the Anyday Large Deep Dish. Mix thoroughly.
- Add soaked rice on top and pour 150ml water. Sprinkle saffron strands and cover with the lid (knob lifted). Cook in the microwave for 13-14 minutes, or until rice is fully hydrated and water has been absorbed.
- Garnish with mint leaves along with a drizzle of cream and melted ghee.
Serving suggestions & tips
- For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with vegetables of your choice and follow the same steps.
